We're excited to bring Paint Night to Ashland! We welcome Ashwini Chitnavis to host this session where you learn to paint on canvas. No art experience necessary, just an open mind and a can-do attitude.

Ashland residents will be given priority in registration; after one week non-residents will be admitted in the order that they registered. Registration is required and space is limited. 

Effective 4/15/2025, we ask that anyone who registers for a limited space event at the Library cancel at least 48 hours prior. If they do not attend or cancel (basically no-show) they will not be able to sign up for events requiring registration for the next 3 months. We've had to take this unfortunate action due to the high cost of quality instructors and the number of people who neither cancel nor attend after reserving a seat. This does not apply to those who were added from the waitlist 24 hours prior to the program (although we'd still appreciate the cancellation if you can't make it!). Your cooperation is appreciated.

In addition, registrants arriving 5 minutes or more after the scheduled program start time will forfeit their spot in that specific program as a result of missing important introductory instructions. Please plan to be here 5-10 minutes before class begins so we can take attendance and you can settle in for fun. 

Ashwini Chitnavis loves art in any form, she has been painting since her teenage years beginning with Oil painting. Her favorite theme is Sunsets as it signifies that the days can end beautifully. 

Over the years she has explored different mediums to express her art, like Charcoal sketching, watercolors, acrylic, sand art (traditionally known as Rangoli in India) and enjoys wall murals. She enjoys sharing and teaching painting to people by doing private paint parties.
