Have you ever wondered how authors weave very important topics, such as environmental issues, into their books so that we learn about something while also enjoying a "light" read? Join us as our panelists discuss their books, research, and hopes for using their writing to have a broad impact on our thinking.
Register directly on Zoom HERE.

Nikki Payne is an anthropologist who can. not. turn. it. off.
I love to force my characters into new environments new cultures and in finding love, they change the way they see the world. Church, cemeteries and romance novels are still the most segregated places in America. My romances, inspired by the classics turn expectations on their head. It's cultural commentary, for the hopeless romantic. .
About Tara:
Whether she’s practicing yoga, weeding the community garden, or enjoying a long nature walk, Tara L. Roí is often thinking up meet-cutes for her quirky older characters. Her latest release, HOPE, was called “a distinctive novel” by the BookLife Prize. Enter the Tara-verse at TaraLRoi.com.
L.E. Sterling is the author of multiple contemporary and Young Adult novels that span fantasy, sci-fi, dystopian, and romance genres. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in English Literature, but credits a childhood spent roaming across Canada in a van as the inspiration for her writing career. True Born (True Born Trilogy) was recognized with the 2017 Athena Award® for Excellence in Young Adult Literature (paranormal). Originally hailing from Parry Sound, Ontario, Sterling currently lives in the French-speaking province of Quebec, Canada. www.le-sterling.com.
